I have tried 3 restore point's from different dates that are days and a week ago that did not work, deleted the files in program files and temp folder and uninstalled it rebooted tried to install the new driver that did not work, I can find a better driver via update BUT it says there is an error with the vital step process of something. I been dealing with this for almost half a day yesterday to 4AM.
After 2 hours of research I managed to get the media/extra keys working after another 2ish hours I started with removing all hid devices and keyboards (since it said I had about 10 of them), made sure its drivers were uninstalled and all files were deleted, this made it so the media/extra keys worked. Then I tried to update the drivers for the 3 or 4 devices that installed with the keyboard. After a couple successes, 1 failure and 2 that could not find better drivers the alphabet keys started to work after 4 hours from when I started….4am is not a good bed time desu…
Going to see if I can get the media keys working but using the normal hid driver..
My real question is there anyway to just reset the driver/devices to just after OS installation? I mean this is NUTS.
